As the
owners of the Mullet Ranch, my wife
Just what is it
that would affect you in such a way? First of all let me say,"The Mullet
Ranch is not just a place but a state of mind." You must travel to sunny
Southwest Florida - while the rest of the country is snow plowing - and spend a
week with
Racing
Bicycles: Have you already
found that moment where you pushed your body to pain levels you didn't think
possible, only to find it is those times where you are most alive? If you have,
the Mullet Ranch is for you. If you would like to experience that moment, the
Mullet Ranch is for you. Racing your bike is not easy, at times it's a
suffer-fest, but the feeling of accomplishment at the end of a race is a high
given only to bike racers. This fact is what our camp is built on, and what
sets us apart.

For the entire
week your "team" will spend each day riding with Curtis. All the
knowledge that can only come from a lifetime of racing bicyles will be imparted
on your group. From training techniques that make you faster, to group
exercises such as revolving pacelines and eschelons, by the end of the week
your group will become a race team. But wait: There is more! Your week doesn't
just end with goodbyes. We load up our Bluebird Wanderlodge RV (aka. “The Bus”)
and head out for a real race on Saturday. When we roll into the race venue you
will be wearing custom "Team Mullet Ranch" cycling kits and using the
tactics learned during the course of the week to do battle in a Florida Points
Series Race. Your first week of many at the ranch ends with an actual bike race
with your team, where your legs can do the "TALKIN’".
Fishing:
While mornings are spent on
the bikes, our afternoons are filled with another passion: Spending time on the
water with the Mullet Ranch's very own Captain Sam Dixon. This man grew up on
these waters as a commercial fisherman and now will use his knowledge to guide
you on a once- in-a-lifetime fishing expedition. Not only is the fishing
legendary, but the day spent with Sam will forever get you “hooked” on life at
the Ranch. Caution: We eat what you catch: Snook, Red Fish, and MULLET.
